オランダからの素敵なお客様ー浴衣で感じる日本の美しさ

本日、小いけにオランダからご家族でお越しくださったお客様。
ご両親と息子さんお二人、なんとご家族全員が浴衣に興味を持ってくださってのご来店でした。

まずは息子さんたちが試着され、それぞれお気に入りを見つけてにっこり☺️
帯の結び方をお見せしたところ、その場で練習までしてくださって…
その素直でまっすぐな姿に、こちらまで嬉しくなりました。

お母様も気に入った柄の浴衣を選ばれ、結びやすい兵児帯をご提案させていただきました。

日本文化への関心の深さが伝わってきて、私も温かな気持ちになりました。

店内では、華やかな振袖コーナーもご覧いただき、
着物の美しさを楽しんでいただいたことも嬉しかったです✨

鶴岡滞在はわずか2日間とのこと。
その限られた時間の中で、小いけに立ち寄っていただけたことがまるで奇跡のようで…
本当にありがとうございました。

日本での旅が実り多く、素晴らしい思い出になりますように。
そして、浴衣を通して母国でも日本の文化を感じていただけたら嬉しいです。

私自身も、もっともっと日本文化の魅力を伝えられるようになりたいと改めて感じたひとときでした。

【A Wonderful Family from the Netherlands】

We recently had the pleasure of welcoming a lovely family from the Netherlands to Koike.
The parents and their two sons all shared a genuine interest in yukata, which brought them to our store.

The two sons tried on yukata first, each finding a favorite style that made them smile☺️
When we showed them how to tie the obi, they immediately started practicing on the spot—
Their open and eager attitude truly warmed our hearts.

The mother also selected a yukata with a design she liked,
and we recommended a heko obi that's easy to tie.We could feel her deep appreciation for Japanese culture, which made the experience even more special for us.

They also took time to enjoy our vibrant furisode section,
and we were so happy to see them delight in the beauty of kimono✨

We were told they were only staying in Tsuruoka for two days.
That they chose to visit us during such a short stay felt almost like a miracle.
We are truly grateful.

We hope their journey in Japan becomes a memorable and meaningful one.
And we would be so happy if wearing yukata brings the feeling of Japanese culture to their lives back home.

This encounter reminded me once again how important it is to share the charm of Japanese culture with others.
